Project Improv Quilt

The top is done and I'm sending it off to my favorite machine quilter tomorrow to have it quilted. It was so fun trying a new technique, and incredibly inspiring to see what everyone else was doing with their quilts. Mine is very simple, but I am pleased with the results. Perhaps I'll get bolder.

Here is a quilt I made for a wedding gift. I used fat quarters from the Soiree line by moda. I just love the colors. It is off being quilted as I type. The wedding is in Florida and the bride loves pink. I hope she likes the quilt.

  1. After just reading your comment on my quilt www.justbecausejodie.com and now looking at yours, it's funny because your quilt is going to a couple in Florida, and I'm in Florida. Love your quilt as well. I still have not basted or quilted it, not looking forward to it, so for now it is off to the side. I actually have more cotton Blossoms fabric that I want to make a fall queen quilt with for my bed as well, but we will see how this one ends up. Thanks for the wonderful comments and oh, how I love crazy mom's stuff. Have a good week!
