We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. We were out in the snow by 9 because you never know how long the snow is going to last around here. After playing in the snow and shoveling the drive I decided it was a great day to pop in Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version please) and sit down at the sewing machine. I managed to get a good start on a weddding quilt for a friend's daughter. Her wedding is going to be in Florida and I thougth these fabrics would be fun. It is Soiree by Lila Tueller for Moda Fabrics. Aren't they great!
Here are a couple of finished blocks. Go here for a tutorial and measurements. This is such a great gift quilt. It's beautiful, quick and easy.

Here's one final picture from my snow pfoto shoot. Our dog had an absolute ball playing in the snow.

I love the colors you picked for the wedding quilt gift. I have yet to try that pattern but it is on my list of 'must do' projects.
ReplyDeleteLooks like everyone really enjoyed the snow! I am ready for spring!
